For thousands of medical graduates in Odisha, today brings clarity and hope. The Directorate of Medical Education and Training Odisha (DMET Odisha) has officially released the Round-1 seat allotment result for NEET PG 2025 the postgraduate entrance examination for MD, MS or DNB courses.

Candidates can check their allotment status on the official website (dmetodisha.in). The result lists the applicant’s name, application number, allotted college, course and other relevant details. Those who receive a seat must complete document verification between November 29–30, 2025.

Initial reports suggest that top-ranked candidates have secured coveted seats in disciplines like General Medicine at renowned institutes such as SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack and others. For many, this marks the end of tense waiting and uncertainty a milestone on the journey to becoming specialists.

Yet, this is only Round 1. For those not allotted a seat, there are still future rounds (upgradation or seat-vacancy rounds) to watch out for. This means all isn’t lost for applicants aiming for medical postgraduate courses.
