CBSE 12th Re-Evaluation 2026: CBSE said it is addressing students' concerns through helplines, grievance systems and support channels.
CBSE 12th Re-Evaluation 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has said that the application window for verification and re-evaluation of answer sheets remained operational from June 2 to June 7. The board stated that the process was managed with technical support from government agencies and IIT teams to ensure smooth functioning.
According to CBSE, more than 1.6 lakh students submitted requests for re-evaluation, covering over 3.8 lakh answer books. The board described this as a significant response from students seeking post-result review services.
CBSE said the portal was monitored round the clock by cyber security teams to protect it from technical issues and cyber threats. Dedicated helpdesk and grievance support teams were also available to assist students during the application process.
Responding to concerns raised on social media, the board clarified that the “roll number not found” message appeared only for candidates who had not applied for scanned copies of their answer books in the first stage of the post-result process.
The board explained that only students who had obtained scanned answer sheets were eligible to apply for verification of marks and re-evaluation in the next stage.
CBSE reiterated its commitment to maintaining a transparent and student-friendly evaluation system. The board added that it continues to address student concerns through grievance redressal mechanisms, helpline services and other support channels.
