Scholarship Surge: CBSE Urges

If you're a college or university student wondering whether financial constraints might hold you back here's a timely opportunity worth grabbing. CBSE, on behalf of India’s Ministry of Education, has officially launched the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship (CSSS) for the 2025–26 academic session, and it’s open for both new applicants and renewals this year.

Here’s the catch though: you must apply by October 31, 2025. Both fresh candidates and students seeking renewal for earlier years (2024, 2023, 2022, and 2021 batches) must submit their applications through the National Scholarship Portal before the deadline.

Curious about the financial support? If you’re an undergraduate student, the scholarship grants you ₹12,000 per year for up to three years. For postgraduate candidates, the assistance increases to ₹20,000 per year.

Now, a heads-up: applying isn’t just about filling forms. You also need your institution’s verification. That means submitting your documents and ensuring your college or university nodal officer verifies your application on time any missed step could render your application invalid.

This scheme isn’t just a financial boost it’s a helping hand to help you pursue higher studies without worry. Whether it’s your first time applying or you’re looking to renew, don’t let the deadline slip by.
