Assam board pushes HSLC registration final date to October 21, 2025 amid holidays.
The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) have announced an extension of the registration deadline for the HSLC 2026 examination. The new last day for forms submission are October 21, 2025. This decision come in light of the Durga Puja holidays, during which many school and administrative office remains closed. Recognizing the difficulty students and institution may faced, SEBA has decide to gives extra time to ensure more student can completed their registration process.
In addition of the extended form submission date, the board has also revise the final payment deadlines to October 24, 2025. Student wishing to appear in HSLC 2026 must now completes both form fill-up and fees payment by these date to be eligible. As per official notification, each candidates must have a valid bank account in their names, and the school must uploaded this details onto SEBA’s online portal. Failure of do so could disqualified student from appearing in exam.
The examination fees structure comprise ₹800 (main exam), ₹50 (practical exams), and ₹350 (centre fee). However, student whose parent earns less than ₹2,00,000 per annum is eligible for waiver of both exam and centre fees. Importantly, SEBA have emphasized that school should not charges students any additional institutional renewal or affiliation fee these must borne by the institution itself.
School and student is advised to act prompt, upload all require data correctly, and ensure timely compliance to avoided any last-minute technical issue.
