Panic spreads among parents as bomb threat emails force evacuation of schools in Noida and Ahmedabad.
Shock in Noida as School Evacuated

A tense situation unfolded on Friday morning when a prominent school in Noida received an alarming bomb threat email, triggering immediate evacuation and security measures. The message, sent anonymously, warned of an explosive device on campus, prompting school authorities to act swiftly in the interest of student safety.

Teachers and staff guided students out of classrooms in an orderly manner while local police were informed without delay. Within minutes, bomb disposal teams, fire officials, and police personnel reached the school premises. The entire campus was cordoned off as a precaution, and students were sent home under supervision. Parents gathered anxiously outside the gates, many visibly shaken as they waited for updates.

Officials conducted a detailed search of classrooms, corridors, playgrounds, and surrounding areas. After hours of inspection, no suspicious objects or explosives were found. Authorities later confirmed that the threat appeared to be non-specific, though investigations into its origin remain ongoing.

Around the same time, similar bomb threat emails were reported by several schools in western Ahmedabad. Local administrations in Gujarat also activated emergency protocols, evacuating buildings and deploying security teams. While no physical danger was detected in those cases either, officials maintained that every threat must be treated seriously until proven otherwise.

In recent months, educational institutions across major cities have increasingly become targets of hoax threat emails. Though most later turn out to be false, such messages cause widespread fear, disrupt academic schedules, and place immense emotional strain on students, parents, and teachers.

Cybercrime units have now taken charge of tracing the digital origin of the emails. Experts say perpetrators often use encrypted platforms or overseas servers to hide identities, making investigations challenging but not impossible.

Parents expressed concern over the psychological impact such incidents have on children. Many said repeated evacuations and fear-driven emergencies are creating anxiety among young students who already face academic pressure.

School authorities urged families to remain calm and avoid spreading unverified information on social media. They assured parents that safety protocols are regularly reviewed and emergency drills are conducted to ensure preparedness.

While Friday’s incident ended without physical harm, it served as a reminder of how vulnerable public institutions can feel in the age of digital threats. Authorities have reiterated that strict action will be taken once the sender is identified, emphasizing zero tolerance toward attempts to spread panic.
