Teachers' Day 2022: Yogi Adityanath honours state teachers, launches five edu portals launched

Yogi Adityanath conferred the State Teacher Award 2021 to 75 teachers and launched five education portals on Teacher's Day 2022.

Uttar Pradesh: UP CM Yogi Adityanath conferred the State Teacher Award 2021 to 75 teachers on the occasion of Teacher's Day 2022. The teachers from the basic education department have been conferred awards at Lok Bhavan. The CM also felicitated eight principals of UP, CBSE, and CISCE board schools, as well as the student toppers of the Uttar Pradesh Sanskrit Shiksha Parishad.

The CM also launched five education portals -- Paunch, Pankh, Pragyan, Parakh, and Pehchan. The Paunch portal would map schools in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Yogi Adityanath is also laying the foundation stones of 39 new high schools and 14 inter colleges in Uttar Pradesh.

Under the Samarth scheme, the CM will also transfer the stipend to the girls of Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalaya and children with disabilities through direct benefit transfer (DBT).

Moreover, to impart vocational training and job-ready skills to government students under 'Praveen Yojana', an MoU is also being signed between the department of secondary education and the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission in the presence of the CM.
