The Tamil Nadu State Board has announced the results for Class 12. A total of 94.56% of students passed the exam. The pass percentage for males is 92.37 percent, while for girls it is 96.44 percent.

Of the total 7,60,606 students, 7,19,196 passed the exam. Among 7,532 upper secondary schools, 2,478 had a flawless 100 percent pass rate.

Computer Science had the highest pass percentage at 99.8%, followed by Chemistry at 99.14%.

This year, 2,587 students earned full marks in Mathematics, 633 in Physics, and 471 in Chemistry.

Approximately 94.56% of students have successfully passed the TN HSE +2 exams. Nearly eight lakh candidates who appeared for the TN Class 12 board exams in 2024 can access their TNDGE Class 12 results by providing their roll number and date of birth.

The TN HSC plus 2 examinations took place from March 1 to 22, allowing for a three to five-day gap before the core subjects, thus offering students sufficient time for preparation.

Last year, approximately 8.51 lakh students participated in the TNDGE HSE exams across science, arts, and commerce streams in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

The pass percentage for Class 12 TN HSE exams last year was recorded at 94.03%, while in 2022, it stood at 93.80%. The TN SSLC Class 10 results are scheduled to be announced on May 10. The TN SSLC examinations occurred from March 26 to April 8, with practical exams conducted from February 26 to 28.
