New Delhi: Tripura's only central university currently lags behind in the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF). Notably, Tripura Central University is a dream university for all the students of Tripura. During the time of the then Vice-Chancellor Prof. Anjankumar Ghosh, this university managed to place itself among one hundred universities of all India in the NIRF ranking. But today this university has dealt a severe blow to the hopes of all the students of Tripura state during the tenure of the present Vice-Chancellor and the much-controversial current Registrar.
