UGC NET 2026 Exam Schedule And Marking Scheme Released

UGC NET 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the UGC NET June 2026 examination will be held from June 22 to June 30. The exam is conducted to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor positions, and PhD admissions across the country.

NTA has released the subject-wise exam schedule for several major subjects. Candidates can check the dates and shift timings below:

Commerce June 24, 2026 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
English June 25, 2026 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
History June 25, 2026 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Candidates have been advised to report to their examination centres at least two hours before the scheduled time to complete registration and security checks.

UGC NET 2026 Marking Scheme 

The UGC NET June 2026 exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Each question will carry two marks. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers, while unanswered questions will not receive any marks.

NTA will issue exam city slips and admit cards before the examination. Candidates should carefully read all instructions mentioned on the admit card and keep checking the official website for the latest updates.
