UGC Urges Higher Education Institutions to Celebrate Constitution Day 2023

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has requested that higher education institutions inform students about Constitution Day 2023 and urge them to engage in the festivities planned as part of it. Every year on November 26th, India celebrates Constitution Day or Samvidhan Divas to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution.
Reading the Preamble to the Constitution and reiterating the pledge to maintain its principles is a significant part of the celebration, according to the UGC, who said that a facility has also been given on the MyGov portal to 'Read the Preamble' online and get a certificate.
