The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results of the Civil Services Examination 2023, with Aditya Srivastava securing the top rank.
The Union Public Service Commission has released the final results of the Civil Services Examination. Results can be checked on the commission's websites, https://upsc.gov.in/ and https://upsconline.nic.in/.
The first spot in the 2022-23 UPSC CSE final exams was bagged by Aditya Srivastava who secured an All India Rank 1, followed by Animesh Pradhan who secured the second rank. Donuru Ananya Reddy has secured the third spot in UPSC final result. A total of 1,016 names have been recommended for appointment to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service, and Central Services Group A and Group B. The status of 355 recommended candidates remains provisional.
The UPSC Civil Service Prelims Examination 2023 was held on May 28. Candidates who cleared the Prelims round was eligible to appear for the Mains examination, which took place on September 15, 16, 17, 23, and 24, 2023, in two shifts. UPSC CSE Mains result was announced on December 8. The UPSC conducted the personality test of 1,026 candidates - who were declared successful in the Civil Service (Main) examination 2023 in December 2023. Interviews or personality tests of the CSE 2023 were held in phases between January 2 and April 9.

Fill govt vacancies
The UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023 will fill a total of 1,105 vacancies in various central government services and departments, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS).
The overall pass percentage of females has increased over the past few years. Last year, women candidates dominated the top positions with Ishita Kishore securing AIR 1 followed by Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi N and Smriti Mishra in the 2022 result. Before that, Shruti Sharma had secured AIR-1 in the UPSC CSE 2021 exam.
