The Union Public Service Commission has reopened registration for the Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination (UPSC ESE) 2025. Interested and qualified applicants can apply by visiting the official website.

The deadline for application submissions is November 22. Candidates will have the opportunity to make changes to their application forms between November 23 and November 29, 2024.

The application window reopened after the government decided to include the Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) and its sub-cadres in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Signal and Telecom, and Stores in the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) for 2025.

Those who have previously enrolled do not need to reapply; however, they may make changes to their OTR profile between October 18 and November 22, 2024.

How to Apply for UPSC ESE 2025?

  • Visit the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in.
  • To view a list of examinations, select the active examination link.
  • Choose the ESE 2025 test link to open a new page.
  • Click the link to apply and fill out the registration form.
  • After registering, log in to your account and complete the application form.
  • Pay the application fees.
  • Submit your application and download the confirmation paper.
  • Save a hard copy for future reference.

The UPSC ESE Preliminary Exam is set for June 8, 2025. This recruitment campaign aims to fill a total of 232 vacancies in the business. For additional details, applicants should visit the official UPSC website.
