The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results of the 2024 Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) examinations. The results can be accessed on the UPSC website. 31 candidates were recommended for posts in the IES and 18 in the ISS.
How to Download the UPSC IES, ISS 2024 Results
Step 1: Go to upsc.gov.in, the official website.
Step 2: In the "What's New" section of the webpage, choose the link that says "Final Result: Indian Economic Service – Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2024."
Step 3: At this point Get the final results for the Indian Economic Service Examination in 2024 or the Indian Statistical Service Examination in 2024.
Step 4: Download the PDF that shows up on the screen.
Step 5: Locate your roll number in the result PDF and save it for later use.
“The provisionality of these candidates will remain valid only for a period of three months from the date of declaration of the Final result. In case the candidate fails to submit the requisite documents as required by the Commission within this period, their candidature will be cancelled and no further correspondence would be entertained in this regard," reads the official notice.
Four candidates' IES results and five candidates' ISS results are provisional; thus, their offer of employment will not be made until the Commission confirms the original papers that are expected from these applicants and makes clear their provisional status.
From June 21 to 23, the UPSC administered the IES/ISS test 2024. In August 2024, the written test results were released.
