UPSC Opens Data Submission Window

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has kicked off the next phase for aspirants who cleared the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2025 by opening an online window for the submission of requisite information.

Since the Mains result was declared in April 2025, this new step enables qualified candidates to register their details ahead of the personality test/interview stage. The official UPSC website upsc.gov.in hosts the portal where each candidate can log in, fill in the necessary details, and download a confirmation page for record-keeping.

In addition to the main selection list, UPSC has recommended 114 additional candidates from the reserve list of the 2024 cycle to fill up remaining vacancies. It's a meaningful move it signals that the recruitment process is moving ahead efficiently, and gives eligible aspirants a clear path to the interview stage.

Here’s how candidates can proceed:

1. Visit the official UPSC website.
2. Click on the link for the “Information Window” for Mains-qualified candidates.
3. Log in using your credentials (roll number, registration ID, etc.).
4. Fill in the required details accurately and submit.
5. Download or print the confirmation page; retain it safely for future reference.

Should any technical problems arise such as difficulty accessing the portal or downloading the e-summon letters for interviews candidates can reach out to UPSC via helpline numbers 011-23385271, 011-23381125 or via fax 011-23387310, 011-23384472. Email support is also available at [csm-upsc@nic.in](mailto:csm-upsc@nic.in).

For many aspirants, this is a pivotal moment: having cleared the demanding Mains stage, they now move into an interview phase where interpersonal skills, clarity of thought and overall suitability will be tested. With this formal window now open, the pathway is clearer but the preparation has just entered a fresh, critical phase.

As candidates await dates and guidelines for the next stage, staying updated through the UPSC website is essential. In sum, this administrative step might appear straightforward, but for many it marks the bridge between exam success and the final stretch towards one of India’s most prestigious career entrances.
