UPSC Releases Reserve List for CSE Main Exam 2023 Results

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced a reserve list for the Civil Services Main Examination (CSE Main) in 2023. The list was requested by the Department of Personnel and Training. The Commission has suggested up to 120 applicants - General (88), EWS (5), OBC (23), SC (3), and ST (1) - to fill the remaining positions based on the CSE Mains.

Candidates can look up the names and roll numbers of the recommended candidates on upsc.gov.in.

The Commission has noted that the candidatures of 30 applicants are provisional.

The UPSC further stated that the DoPT will directly contact the recommended candidates.

The UPSC CSE 2023 results were declared on April 16, 2024. At the time, the Commission nominated 1,016 applicants for appointment to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and a few other central services and group A and group B positions. The examination was held for 1,143 positions.

 

The reserved list, which was announced, includes candidates in the order of merit after the last candidate suggested in April in several categories.
