Vaishno Devi University Students Will Lead! Says Dharmendra Pradhan

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Thursday that students at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University will lead the country into a technologically advanced future. Pradhan was the chief guest at the university's 9th convocation at Katra, Reasi district, Jammu and Kashmir, and congratulated the students on their new journey.

Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha also attended the convocation. He called upon the graduating students to set clear goals in their professional careers, identify problems and face them courageously to build a Viksit Bharat@2047’. “Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University is a research and design-centric university and I have full confidence that the students of the prestigious institution will lead this technology-based era and become a major contributor to the progress of the society, nation and the world in the times to come, " Pradhan said.

According to the minister, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emphasized the importance of ability above degree. In his speech, the Lieutenant Governor encouraged students to be patient, to follow their ambitions passionately, and to take advantage of chances to gain new skills.

"The country requires young consciousness and youthful thinking in the journey of Amrit Kaal." The future will be shaped by the youth. "The world is changing faster than ever before, and young people must be patient in order to capitalize on the opportunity to learn new skills," he added. "Never stop chasing your dreams and keep walking until you achieve your mission in life," the lieutenant governor was quoted as saying.

 

He urged the graduates not to be "afraid of failures" and to "never stop learning." Speaking of life beyond school, the Lt Governor stated that contemporary locations today provide numerous options and that graduating students should examine their abilities to carry out their goals.
