The official notice read, "AICTE has changed the academic calendar for the year 2023–2024 and has notified the same on Council website: www.aicte-india.org. This is in compliance with the Supreme Court ruling of 13.10.2023. As a result, October 30, 2023 is now the deadline for affiliation with universities and admissions to all AICTE-approved institutions.

 

 

Previously, September 15, 2023 was the last day to apply for courses at PGDM and PGCM schools, and July 31, 2023 was the deadline for university affiliation grants.

 

For technical institutions

 

  • Last date for grant of affiliation by university, board: October 30

  • Last date up to which first-year students can be admitted against vacancies: October 30.

  • Last date for lateral entry admission to second-year courses for newly admitted students: October 30.
