Central Board of Secondary Education results may differ from mid-May trend due to new Class 10 second exam cycle in 2026
CBSE Board Results 2026 Live Updates: The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to announce the Class 10 results for 2026 around April 14. The early declaration is likely due to the second phase of board exams scheduled in May. Although the board has not officially confirmed the date, results are anticipated by mid-April.
The second exam cycle is part of the two-exam system introduced last year. It allows students to improve their scores in up to three subjects or reappear if placed in the compartment category.
The Class 10 board exams concluded on March 11, while Class 12 exams are still ongoing and will end on April 10. Both exams began on February 17.
