CBSE’s Virtual Conclave for Counsellors: Key Dates and Registration Details

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will hold a conclave today, September 11, 2024, to improve counselors' capacities in schools. The conclave will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. on the official website.

CBSE has requested that all principals and heads of affiliated schools urge their school counselors, teachers, and wellness instructors to participate fully online in the virtual conclave. instructors' participation is limited to 1,000 counselors/wellness instructors from CBSE schools, and it is first come, first served.

The conclaves, which are connected with NEP 2020, are intended to improve school counselors' abilities so that they can successfully fulfill students' psychosocial and vocational needs.

It aims to help school counselors better handle the emotional and behavioral needs of children and adolescents. The virtual conclave focuses on professional growth by providing continuing training, tools, and best practices for mental health assistance, establishing a healthy school atmosphere that supports kids' overall well-being.

This program allows counselors to meet, exchange experiences, and work on solutions to address psychosocial problems in schools. By connecting counseling practices with NEP 2020, the conference emphasizes the relevance of mental health in education and seeks to promote awareness among stakeholders about the vital role of mental health support in promoting a better and more supportive educational environment.
