Delhi University invites applications for MBA programs with selection based on CAT scores group discussions interviews
Aspiring management students have a promising opportunity this academic year as Delhi University has officially opened admissions for its MBA programs for the 2026 27 session. The Department of Commerce under the Faculty of Commerce and Business Studies has announced that the application process is now live and will remain open until January nineteen two thousand twenty six. The programs are offered through the Delhi School of Economics which is widely regarded for its strong academic foundation and industry relevance.
The university is offering MBA programs in three specialisations namely International Business Human Resource Development and Business Analytics. Each course has been designed to meet the evolving needs of the corporate world by focusing on leadership strategic thinking and data driven decision making. The curriculum aims to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure enabling them to adapt to modern business challenges.
One of the key highlights of these programs is their affordability. The annual fee for Indian students has been fixed at fifty seven thousand two hundred seventy nine rupees which makes it one of the most cost effective MBA options among premier public universities in India. This fee structure allows students from diverse economic backgrounds to access quality management education without excessive financial pressure. International applicants however will be subject to separate eligibility conditions and fee requirements.
Admission to the MBA programs is strictly merit based. Candidates must appear for the CAT two thousand twenty five examination which forms the primary criterion for shortlisting. Applicants are required to complete the online application process along with payment of the prescribed fee. Based on CAT scores shortlisted candidates will be called for a group discussion and personal interview round. These stages are conducted to evaluate communication skills analytical ability clarity of thought and overall managerial potential.
Candidates must also note that original documents will be physically verified during the group discussion and interview process. Failure to produce valid documents may result in cancellation of candidature. After completion of all selection stages a final merit list will be prepared. Seat allocation will be done based on a composite score that includes CAT performance academic background group discussion and interview scores.
With the application deadline drawing closer students are advised to complete the process well in advance and carefully follow all instructions.
