IIM Kashipur Witnesses Surge in Working Professionals Pursuing MBA Programs

Over the past few years, there has been an increase in the number of working people enrolled in the MBA programmes offered by IIM-Kashipur. Based on information from the MBA 2023–25 class, 126 of the 321 students have worked for 12–24 months, and 116 have worked for longer than 24 months. Additionally, only sixty students are first-years, and 19 have six to twelve months of experience.

In the MBA Analytics 2023–25 class, among the 170 students who have work experience in total, 39 have worked for more than 24 months, 48 for 12–24 months, 11 for 6–12 months, and roughly 72 are freshmen. In addition, 81 students are non-engineering majors, whereas 89 are engineering majors.

The data revealed an interesting fact: of the 321 pupils enrolled, just 62 are female and 259 are male.

With the highest package of Rs 37 lakh per annum (LPA), IIM Kashipur has concluded its final placement season for the MBA and MBA (Analytics) class of 2021–2023. Year-over-year (y-o-y) growth of 19% is observed in the batch's average CTC, which is Rs 18.11 LPA.

The median CTC is Rs 17.2 LPA, with a y-o-y growth of 16 percent. The highest CTC stands at Rs 37 LPA, with 28 percent growth over the previous year. The top 10 percent of the batch bagged an average CTC of Rs 28.5 LPA, for the top 20 percent, the average CTC was Rs 25.9 LPA, while it stood at Rs 24.5 LPA for the top 30 percent, with a y-o-y growth of 21 percent, 20 percent, and 22 percent, respectively.
