The Indian Army has started the registration process for Agniveer Recruitment 2024. Eligible applicants should go to the official website, joinindianarmy.nic.in, to complete their registration.

Candidates will be required to take the Common Entrance Exam (CEE), which is scheduled for April 2024. Candidates will be unable to amend their information after they have filled it out. The selected Agniveers will serve in the Indian Army for four years.

Documents required  

•     Class X pass certificate

•     Valid personal email address

•     Mobile number

•     Details about state, district, and tehsil/block of domicile (mandatory only for JCO/OR enrolment application)

•     Scanned passport-size photograph (between 10 KB to 20 KB in jpg format)

•     Scanned photo of signature 

How to apply?

Step 1: Go to the official website, joinindianarmy.nic.in.
Step 2: Scroll down and select the 'Agniveer apply/login' link.
Step 3: Register yourself if you are a new user; otherwise, login with your username and password.
Step 4: Fill in all the relevant information, pay the cost, and click submit.
Step 5: Download the completed test form.
Step 6: Take a printout for future reference.

Salary Prospects

Candidates who join under the Agnipath plan will be paid Rs 21,000 in hand for their first year of service, with a yearly rise. In addition to their income, they would receive a 'Seva Nidhi' package worth Rs 10,04,000 at the end of four years. After four years of service, 25% of agniveers will get permanent service based on organisational requirements.
