National Teachers Entrance Test Registration Now Open

The National Teachers Entrance Test (NTET) registration procedure is already underway, allowing ambitious educators to apply for one of the most popular teaching certification exams in the country.

The NTET is a pathway for people seeking to become teachers in government and private schools across India. Interested individuals are invited to finish their applications before the deadline.

Steps to Apply for NTET:

  • Visit the official website of NTET
  • Click on the highlighted link tab available on the homepage
  • Click on new login
  • Fill out the NTET application form with personal, academic, and contact details
  • Upload the required documents
  • Pay the application fee
  • Download and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for NTET must meet specific eligibility requirements, including:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Education (BEd) or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university.
  • For primary level teaching, candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50 per cent marks, along with a Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) or BEd.

Exam Pattern

The NTET consists of two papers:

  1. Paper 1: For candidates aspiring to teach classes I-V.
  2. Paper 2: For candidates aiming to teach classes VI-VIII.

Each paper includes multiple-choice questions (MCQs) on subjects like Child Development, Pedagogy, Language, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies.
