NMC Invites PG Guides for Medical College Inspections

 

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a notification asking information from medical schools on faculty members who are eligible to become PG guides in order to perform medical college assessments. Eligible faculty members at government medical colleges/institutions are encouraged to express their desire using the Google link accessible on the official website by mid-December.

The National Medical Council (NMC) is seeking faculty members to conduct inspections for undergraduate and postgraduate applications for the 2025-26 academic year. The Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) will conduct inspections by the NMC Act, 2019, with faculty from government medical colleges to be engaged as assessors.

The inspection of medical colleges is crucial for ensuring and enhancing the quality of medical education in the country. Since, NMC would be conducting surprise inspections of various medical colleges, the faculty of government medical colleges will be engaged for this purpose, reads the official notification by NMC.
