NTA Opens Applications for AIEEA (PG) & AICE-JRF/SRF(PhD) Exams

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is accepting applications for AIEEA (PG) and AICE-JRF/SRF(PhD)]-2024 for admission to the Indian Council of Agricultural Research's (lCAR) postgraduate and doctorate degree courses for the academic year 2024-25. Candidates have till May 11, 2024, at 5 p.m., to submit their online applications at exams.nta.ac.in/ICAR/.

The last date for a successful fee transaction through credit/debit card/Net banking /UPI is May 11, up to 11.50 pm.

Correction in particulars of the application form on the website will be done from  May 13-15, 2024. The exam is scheduled on June 29, 2024; it will be held in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam will have objective-type multiple-choice questions in English medium. The duration will be two hours.

The information about the eligibility, scheme of exam, exam cities, exam timings, exam fee, procedure for applying etc. are contained in the Information Bulletin hosted on the website of NTA - exams.nta.ac.in/ICAR/

Candidates who are desirous of applying for the exam may go through the Information Bulletin and apply online at https://exams.nta.ac.in/ICAR/ till May 11, 2024, and also pay the applicable fee, online, through the payment gateway using Debit/Credit Cards/Net Banking/UPI.

The NTA will announce the result later on the official website and the schedule for online counselling will be announced by the ICAR at www.icar.org.in after the declaration of the result.

Steps to fill out the online application form:

Step 1: Visit https://exams.nta.ac.in/ICAR/ 

Step 2: Candidates can register online using their Email Id and Mobile Number.

Step 3: Fill in the online application form and note down the system-generated application number, candidates can upload scanned images of their photograph (file size: 10 kb - 200 kb), and their signature (file size: 4 kb – 30 kb) and thumb impression (file size: 3 kb-30 kb) in JPG format.

Step 4: Pay the fees using Canara/HDFC Payment Gateway through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI and keep proof of fee paid. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fees then the transaction is cancelled, and the amount will be refunded to the candidate’s account. However, the candidate has to make another transaction, in case the Confirmation Page is not generated.

Step 5: Take a screenshot or print out for further reference. 

Counselling

Candidates declared eligible for registration and choice filling for online counselling by ICAR will only be considered for allocation of subject and the Agricultural University. The schedule for online counselling will be notified separately on ICAR website www.icar.org.in after declaration of result. The admission and scholarship would be granted only when the candidate seeks admission through counselling conducted by ICAR AIEEA (PG)-2024 shall be awarded only after the completion of online counselling.
