The National Testing Agency (NTA) has completed its Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for undergraduate course admissions for the 2024 session. Conducting this year’s entrance test both through computer-based and pen-and-paper mode, the agency witnessed about 1.52 lakh candidates with an attendance of 78 per cent to 81 per cent in different test papers conducted on day 8 of the CUET UG.
“The test papers (Chemistry – 306, Biology – 304, English – 101, and General Test 501) were conducted today i.e. 29 May 2024 in centres across Delhi, Faridabad, Gurugram, Noida, and Ghaziabad for about 1.52 lakh candidates with an attendance of 78% to 81% in different test papers,” read the statement from the press release.
This year’s CUET UG examination was completed in all cities in the country and abroad within 8 days thereby reducing the exam duration from 34 days last year.
Provisional answer keys soon
As the CUET UG for the 2024 session is over, candidates can expect provisional answer keys soon next month.
These challenges will be shown to the concerned subject experts. Based on their feedback and after incorporating the changes, the final answer keys will be prepared which will then be used in preparing the results of CUET (UG) – 2024.
“The NTA has also made special arrangements to accommodate a single candidate residing in Germany by facilitating her to appear for the CUET (UG) – 2024 with the support of the Consulate General of India, Frankfurt, Germany for the test papers (Chemistry – 306, Biology – 304, English – 101, and General Test 501).” read another statement from NTA’s notification.
