The UPSC has provided candidates with the opportunity to change their service allocation data in DAF-1 for the Civil Services Main Exam 2023 personality test.
The Union Public Service Commission released an important notice regarding the UPSC Civil Services Main Exam 2023 personality test.
Candidates preparing for the personality exam can see the official notification on the UPSC website, upsc.gov.in.
According to the letter, the UPSC has decided to give a window for applicants to change their data about service allocation only in DAF-1 via the official website.
Candidates may only change their service allocation data in DAF-I via the website https://upsconline.nic.in.
The opportunity for amending information is open from February 1, 2024, to February 5, 2024, at 6:00 PM. Details updated during this time will be considered for P.T./Interviews, particularly for applicants slated for Phase II or later.
The Commission's decision came after receiving numerous requests from candidates who appeared in P.T./Interviews and were recommended through CSE-2022 or previous CSEs but were unable to be assigned a service before the closing date of DAF-I of CSM-2023 to update their employment/service allocation details in DAF-I.
Following the publication of the results for the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2023 on December 8, 2023, the UPSC began the Personality Tests (Interviews) on January 2, 2024.
Phase I of the Personality Test (P.T.) program will run from January 2 to February 16, 2024. Phase II is scheduled to take place from February 19 to March 15, 2024. The P.T. timetable for the remaining applicants will be accessible on the Commission's website in due course.
