The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, will close the registration process for IIT Madras Data Science Admission 2024 on September 15, 2024. The registration procedure for the September 2024 batch is currently active. All interested individuals can apply for the IITM BS degree course in Data Science and Applications through IIT Madras' official website, iitm.ac.in.

The qualifying test will be held on October 27, 2024, and the results will be revealed on November 1, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Class 12 or equivalent passers can apply.
  • Students appearing for Class 11 final exams can apply.
  • Qualified applicants can join immediately after passing Class 12.

How To Apply

To apply for the Data Science course, applicants should follow the processes outlined below.

  • Visit IIT Madras' main website, iitm.ac.in.
  • Click on the Study at IITM link on the home page's ticker.
  • A new drop-down box will appear, and candidates will need to choose a Non-Campus BS degree.
  • When you click on a Data Science course, a new page will appear.
  • Now, click on the registration page and fill out your information.
  • Once finished, log in to your account and complete the application form.
  • Make a payment for the application fee and click submit.
  • Download the page and retain a printed copy for future use.

Application Fees for IIT Madras

  • General category/OBC applicants: ₹3000/-.
  • SC / ST Category / PwD (>= 40% disability) applicants: ₹1500/-.
  • SC / ST Category Applicant who is PwD (>= 40% disability): ₹750/-.
  • Additional exam facilitation fee for Qualifier Exam outside India.
  • Payment should be made online.
