The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) provides a number of online and offline capacity-building programs for teachers. The courses are being developed to recognize the importance of excellent parenting in enhancing children’s overall development.

The program will assist to build a solid relationship between educational institutions and families.

The training will provide school leaders with the essential skills to help parents guide their children’s academic, social, and emotional development. It will provide stakeholders with the skills and insights needed to handle the present parenting issues.

In cooperation with Podar Education Network, the board will organize an offline session for principals of CBSE schools in Mumbai/Thane titled ‘Empowering Connections: A session on Effective Communication and Cooperation in Parenting and Education’.

The session will be held on December 4, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Fortune Select Exotica, 16, Palm Beach Road, APMC Market, Sector 19, Vashi, Navi Mumbai – 400705.

The program will focus on the larger topics of Communicate and Collaborate – Supporting the Parenting Journey and Communicate to Nurture – A Parent-School Partnership.

Principals of CBSE affiliated schools in the Mumbai/Thane region are encouraged to register for participation in the workshop using the Google Form: https://forms.gle/cTtz87rzhiUGyX4A9.

The session will help you grasp numerous crucial elements of parenting, such as:

  • Improving Communication Between Parents and Children
  • Psychosocial Support.
  • Connecting better with children and building trust
  • Maintaining student mental well-being

  • Supporting students’ learning journeys.
