Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan stated on Saturday at the Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam 2023, where he presided over the signing of 106 memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with various organizations and institutions, that the National Education Policy 2020 will establish a stronger basis for India.

The gathering commemorated the policy's third anniversary. The MoUs call for collaboration with both public and private entities to boost innovation and R&D in a variety of areas, ushering in a new era of collaboration in academia and industry-academia relations, according to Pradhan, who also oversees skill development and entrepreneurship.

"A new education policy is spreading throughout the county." The NEP aspires to make India the world's torchbearer for offering and receiving quality education in the twenty-first century. To be future-ready, one must consider learning an Indian language," Pradhan remarked during the education meeting's closing session. Subhash Sarkar, Annapurna Devi, and Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, junior education ministers, were also present for the signing.

To emphasize skill development and education, the Central Board of Secondary Education has inked 15 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with institutes and skill providers. The National Council for Educational Research and Training signed 20 Memorandums of Understanding with several state departments. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti and IBM to expedite operations for the proper implementation of the Vigyan Jyoti program in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Samagam in New Delhi's Pragati Maidan, releasing the first installment of funds under the PM SHRI scheme. PM Shri schools strive to develop children into involved, productive, and contributing citizens who will help to establish a more egalitarian, inclusive, and pluralistic society.
