The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is set to host a complimentary five-day virtual course from August 19 to 23 to provide students with fundamental knowledge in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML).
The goal of the free five-day course on "Ais" is to promote creativity in the space industry and beyond as part of the IIRS outreach program. There is no cost to participate in this program.
The Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) outreach initiative was started in 2007 and has since grown to over 3,500 network institutes, benefiting NGOs, government agencies, universities, and research centers. Building capacity in the field of geographic technology and its applications has benefited greatly from it.
The free ISRO course is designed for professionals, students, and researchers in fields like civil engineering, computer science, and geoinformatics.
Those interested in exploring AI, ML, and deep learning (DL) for geospatial applications are encouraged to apply.
The following broad topics will be covered in the ISRO course:
The course, scheduled from August 19-23, 2024, will provide lecture slides, video-recorded lectures, open-source software, and demonstration handouts through the e-class platform.
The course will be conducted online via the e-class platform of IIRS-ISRO, requiring only a good internet connection and basic computer hardware.
Online lectures in this ISRO course will be held every day from 4 pm to 5:30 pm.
Course updates and other details will be available on IIRS website.
A "Course Participation Certificate" will be awarded to students who finish the course with at least 70% of attendance.
The ISRO Learning Management System will allow users to download this certificate (LMS).
Through this ISRO project, people have a fantastic chance to advance their AI knowledge and support India's expanding space industry. Don't pass up this opportunity to increase your machine learning and artificial intelligence expertise.
