The Delhi Education Department has established provisional admissions criteria to assist children from Manipur affected by violence in completing the admissions process without documentation. Students up to Class 9 will receive provisional admission based on CBSE or Manipur school board mark sheets, and schools have been instructed to provide guidance and support for their adjustment.

For children from Manipur who have been harmed by violence, the Delhi Education Department has established extensive criteria for provisional admissions. These instructions, which are divided into 10 main points, are designed to help these students complete the admissions process without incident, even in the lack of the necessary paperwork due to their unplanned departure from Manipur.

All students up to Class 9 will receive provisional admission in accordance with the regulations. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or the Manipur school board's mark sheets will be used to determine whether students get admitted. Additionally, CBSE mark sheets are digitally accessible on DigiLocker.

According to India Today, the heads of schools have been instructed to offer provisional admissions to the impacted kids and to help them establish residential evidence in Delhi.

The rules demand the provision of Educational and Vocational Guidance Counsellors (EVGC) services to aid students and their families in adjusting to Delhi schools.

Schools have been told to put the displaced children in English-medium sections to ease their absorption into the educational system because they might not be fluent in Hindi. On July 5, all deputy district education officers participated in a meeting led by additional director Nandini Maharaj, during which this choice was made. The education department has also stated that it is eager to help Manipur senior secondary students.

Every student up to and including Class 9 will be admitted on a provisional basis, according to the meeting minutes. The DDE Patrachar and NIOS have been instructed to assist students in classes 9 through 12 who might not have the necessary documentation due to their unexpected departure from Manipur by personally contacting them on the phone for admissions.

Additionally, the cluster resource center coordinator division of Samagra Siksha has been asked to help provisionally admitted students establish residential evidence in Delhi.

The Kuki Students Organisation Delhi and NCR will collaborate with the Directorate of Education and assign a designated Nodal In-charge to each district who will be responsible for managing the admission procedure specifically for students who have been displaced from Manipur, according to the Directorate of Education.

Following fighting between the Kuki and Meitei groups in Manipur in May, several families moved their kids to Delhi in the hopes of getting them accepted into the city's schools, according to the Free Press Journal.

In order to ensure that these displaced pupils may continue their education in Delhi, education minister Atishi instructed schools to admit them as soon as possible last month.
